Project Oriented Investment | Healthcare

In Japan the elderly population sharply increases while total population decreases. People aged 65 or older is expected to account for 30% by 2025.

On the other hand, the Act on the Comprehensive Support for the Daily and Social Life of Persons with Disabilities was enforced in 2013 and users of group homes have increased since the enforcement.

We will provide solutions for realizing an inclusive, safe and comfortable society through investments in healthcare projects (facilities for the elderly, group homes for the handicapped).

Facilities for the elderly

Our business partner is AIP Healthcare Japan GK ("AIP"). AIP is involved in the operation of Japan’s first listed REIT specializing in healthcare and has a broad network in the elderly care industry.
They target the relatively wealthy class in urban areas that lack sufficient facilities for the elderly. They improved profitability by constructing as a complex facility.

(Note) Group home;
In group homes, about 10 to 20 people with physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities live together with the support of the caretakers stationed 24 hours a day. Since the facility is smaller than the existing facilities for persons with disability, it is possible to provide support that meets the needs of each resident. The benefits of moving into group homes include prevention of isolation, reduction of anxiety about life, and stabilization of physical and mental conditions through communal living.
