We seek undiscovered value in individual companies or portfolio of companies managed by general partnerships where we can bring our specific expertise to realize expedited exits. JAIC is an LP in multiple Asian funds and has extensive relationships within LP and GP community in Japan and across Asia. In particular, we have an entrenched network among entrepreneurs built over 20 years of primary investment experience. We continue to build upon our proprietary database of more than 1,700 JAIC portfolio companies and approximately 30,000 companies outside of our portfolio.

We are currently raising a third secondary investment vehicle to take advantage of special situations within LP communities of private equity investors as well as the underlying portfolio companies. In this fund, in addition to Japan, we will focus significantly on Asia. To that end, we will leverage our on-the-ground presence with local investment professionals across four offices in Asia.
